Eleven Council Brothers, and two Office Staff Members participated in this years Coats For Kids Fund Raising Weekend. This year our drive was held at Shop and Save in Gray and Shaw’s in Freeport on Saturday October 6 through Monday October 8. It was decided at our July Council Officers Meeting to conduct our 2018 Fund Raising Drive for Coats for Kids on the weekend of October 6 through October 8. With this being our Second Annual Donation Drive has netted us a sizable amount of money for the purchase of NEW Coats through the Knights of Columbus for those children in need. With the money we raised this year, $898.40 and last year’s successful drive $1,041.00 we have now collected a total of $1,934.40 for the last two years. The Food Pantry Staff were very please to have received these winter coats for needy children. We look forward to doing this program one again in 2019. CHARITY, and UNITY are very much alive during this event.
