Senior Lunch and Christmas party

Project Description:

KC Council 2392, D-17, Jackman sponsored their monthly Senior Lunch program with this month having an added flare of a Santa visit and gift prizes.
As each participant entered the door they were handed 1/2 of a ticket with a unique number. The other 1/2 of the ticket with a matching number was placed in a bucket. After the lunch Santa came to visit and perk up the event that was already lively. As the meal was going on an entertainer provided live music with her guitar and her beautiful voice to serenade to crowd. After lunch the tickets were drawn from the bucket. Gifts donated by local merchants were given out as a number was called. Scouts were present to help and carried the gift to the winner of the ticket number called.
Dinner was prepared by Brother Bill. An awesome cooked ham with all the trimmings was served by brother Knights and volunteers from the community business. Deserts were prepared and brought in from local seniors who regularly bring in treats.
