Sewing project for Covid-19 masks

02/26/2021

Council: 13486 - WATERVILLE

Project Description:

Two of our council members, Jim Kilbride and Pearley Lachance, assisted their wives, Rachel and Alice, with a mask-making project. Pieces of cloth were cut and brought to St. Bridget Center, where the ladies in the sewing group began making masks. These were for elderly persons, priests, those with immunity issues, but were not designed for medical personnel. At last count, over 1,000 masks have been produced for distribution.
