Sign made for Maine Military Museum

Council: 2219 - WESTBROOK

Project Description:

The emotions one feels while visiting the Maine Military Museum in South Portland are nearly impossible to put into words. Simply stated, it is a remarkable testimonial to those who served our country in war. Plaques, uniforms, photos, and assorted memorabilia are only part of the experience. One Brother Knight noticed that the hours of operation were not posted on the door, perhaps leading to someone not bothering to return if met with a locked door. This Brother recorded the necessary information, created a draft of a door sign, got approval from the museum curator, and purchased a professional sign from a local Awards and Recognition business. The sign cost only $40 and was delivered in person to the very appreciative recipient.
