Project Description:

On April 11, 2018, the Silver Rose was received from the Van Buren Council as it made its way from New Brunswick Canada to Connecticut as part of the 2018 Silver Rose Program which will be completed on the 12th of December on the Feast of Our Lady of Guateloupe. On April 14-15, the Silver Rose was displayed at each Mass of Christ the Divine Mercy Parish. Father Bruce Siket provided an explanation of the Silver Rose program at each Mass and the Silver Rose was displayed after the Saturday evening Mass at St. Martin’s and the Sunday morning Mass at St. Peter’s. Parishioners were given the opportunity to view the Silver Rose and a Knight was on hand to answer any questions and to provide an informational brochure on the Program. Council 680 takes pride in its participation in this international program.
