Council: 15791 - FALMOUTH
Project Description:
Eleven Council Brothers, wives and our guest speaker for the evening participated in the July 10, Council Social Evening. This evening we had as our guest speaker Cynthia Nickless from the Presence Radio Station. This evening Cynthia’a program was focused around the growth of the Presence Radio Station and Relevant Radio. She explained to us how Relevant Radio will improve their Catholic Programming throughout the State of Maine. Relevant Radio has been helping people bridge the gap between Faith and everyday Life. The Relevant Radio network is currently serving the Church with nearly 130 stations reaching 38 states and assists the Church in the “New Evangelization” process. Following her presentation she conducted a question and answer session, and passed out information to each one in attendance. Following the Presence/Relevant Program our Grand Knight made a presentation of a “Plaque of Appreciation” to a very dedicated Brother and his Family, who will be moving to Ohio soon. Brother Justin Hebert has been a member of our Council since May 2015; making his second and third degree in September of 2015. In the short time Justin and his Family have been with our Council, they have made a lasting impression on all who he has worked with. Brother Justin has served as a Trustee for our council for three years, Chaired the Intellectual Disabilities Campaign for the Yarmouth Clam Festival for 2 years and been an active member with the Youth Program, supporting our Foul Shooting contest and one year with the Keeping Christ in Christmas Poster Campaign . Brother Justin and wife Brandy were very involved in the programs at Saint Jude’s Church in Gray. Their presence will be greatly missed and all of Council 15791 wishes this family the very best on their move to Ohio. In closing out the evening refreshment were served by Grand Knight Mike Crowley to all. May GOD Bless and keep Safe this very Special Family.
