Project Description:

Our council Program Director had the opportunity to learn where one of the Council Cash Calendar winners will be using his winnings. The location of his call to the June 10th winner was his home. As our Cash Calendar Team continue’s their daily drawings this month of the Cash Calendar winners, today was a special day for our Program Director. It just happen that todays winner was our Deputy Grand Knights son-in law. His son-in law being a Baptist Minister, and a Second Lieutenant / Chaplin of his Military Reserve Unit was very blessed to hear of his winning. Being Sunday he was the recipient of $100.00. After discussion with him what he was going to do with his windfall, he informed us of a project that he has been saving up for some time. He is in the process of purchasing some Bible’s for those Senior’s that are graduating from his AFROTC Program and moving on to regular military duty. What a blessed and thoughtful idea he has come up with. Soon these students will be graduating, and he is looking forward to surprising them with a Bible each. God’s gifts come in many forms. This one by far is very special and I am sure will be remembered and cherished by all the graduating candidates and their Families.
