Project Description:

4th Degree Knights Tom Leonard and Peter Glynn and 1st Degree Knight Joe Balchunas assisted the St Joseph Church Food Pantry in distributing food to families who stopped by the church to pick up boxes of food. On Dec 14, Joe and Tom assisted by helping to unload and store food delivered by the Good Shepherd Food Bank to the St Joseph Church Food Pantry. Joe and Tom each worked for 2 hours (4 manhours) on Dec 14. Peter, Tom and Joe helped distribute food boxes to families who stopped by to pick them up. Peter, Tom and Joe also helped in storing tables, carts and coolers which were used for the distribution. Peter, Tom and Joe each worked 3 hours (9 man-hours) on the day of distribution, Dec 15. There were 10 other parishioners belonging to the group which assisted on Dec 15. The St Joseph Church Food Pantry services the communities of Bridgton, Fryeburg, Naples and Harrison. Food was distributed to 30 families. Boxes of food contained cereals, canned goods, snacks, and boxes of pasta. Boxes of produce were also distributed.
