Staint Patrick's Celebration - An Irish Tradition

Council: 114 - BANGOR

Project Description:

Pine Cone Council 114 hosted a Traditional Irish Supper at St John’s Catholic Church on York Street on March 14th, 2020. Approximately 110 participated in the evening of Irish Folklore, Irish Dinner with all the traditional meal items, corn beef, boiled turnip, carrots, potatoes, cabbage, cornbread, and fruit cobbler for dessert.
We also had a Silent Auction that evening to help raise some funds for the 125th Anniversary of our Council.
Once again we had live entertainment by local parish singers, who played and sang traditional folklore music.
The Knights also provided the meals to go, as the Pandemic was just beginning and there was plenty of concern for the health of the group at large.

Thank You Brother Knights for putting on a wonderful meal, program, and as always the proceeds shall benefit the many local charities the Knights designate.
