Myself along with 2 other council brothers attended the Sunday Mass at the Veterans Hospital in Augusta on August 19th, 2018 What a marvelous opportunity and honor it was to attend mass with our disabled vets and their family members, while saying thank you to them for giving of them selves for their country. God bless them all. Patriotism, Fraternity, Unity was at work here with this Knights of Columbus Activity. We thank you Lord for watching over us as we performed this special activity. What a very special effort from one Brother to another. This is the sixth time since our council’s formation that we have provided this service to our Brother in Christ in the Togus Facility. This was once again a very blessed morning for myself and my brothers of this council who took time from their families to join us today today. A special thank you to one of our newest council brothers from Saint Jude’s who is in the active military with the United States Coast Guard. One of the Veterans made comment to me about how sharp he looked in his uniform, and thanked us for being part of his day. Giving back to those who have given so much for us and their country.
