Project Description:

Support for our veterans can never be underestimated. At our December meeting we invited a speaker representing Honor Flight Maine who delivered a moving story describing how veterans are given the opportunity at no cost to join in with many other veterans to visit the war memorials in Washington DC.
The stories the veterans tell upon their return can draw tears from the strongest of men. This speaker and the story she told resulted in a donation from our council to Honor Flight Maine in the amount of $2500.00.
