Tablets for Nursing Homes

Project Description:

There are three Nursing Homes in Houlton. The nursing facilities were contacted regarding the need for devices where their patients would be able to use a tablet to permit Skyping with their relatives. Each nursing home had a least one, but due to COVID, they were all in constant use. Each facility could easily use and additional device. The Council approved the purchase of a tablet for each facility to help permit more of the seniors to be able to communicate with family during the pandemic.
