Project Description:

Myself and my wife along with two other council brothers and several parishioners, gathered to pray the rosary of Mary at Saint Gregory’s Church Grotto on Saturday October 13, 2018. Prior to the Prayer service one of our deceased brothers wife purchased, and placed a crown of flowers on the statue of Mary. This has been our third year our council has been part of the AMERICA NEEDS FATIMA PROGRAM. Even though it rained all the time we were doing the rosary, each of us were deeply in prayer for our Mother Mary and what this program means to us as parishioners of the Parish of the Holy Eucharist, and practicing Catholics. Following the Lady of Fatima gathering, one of our council brothers and his wife who are Secular Franciscans spent some additional time in silent prayer for a Secular Brother of their Order who is in Hospice, dying of Cancer. As Catholics we must take time in our busy lives to Pray for those who need prayers in their time of need. Prayer is one of those things that is free in our lives, and doesn’t cost us anything but our time. We are in hopes that during October of 2019 we are once again able to participate in the Fourth Annual Lady of Fatima Gathering. Thank you to our Pastor Fr Daniel, Fr. Peter Kaseta, and Council Brother Steve Carrier and his Wife for making this morning possible.
