Project Description:

In closing out our fifth successful year participating in the “Program for People with Disabilities” our Council Chancellor made the check presentations at Holy Martyr’s Church on Tuesday October 2, 2018 to the winners. One of the winners was unable to make it last evening, so their check was mailed to them. This year’s representatives were from “Maine Special Olympics” in Portland for the Lobster Dip Team, Riding To The Top Therapeutic Riding Center of Windham, and the Travis Mills Foundation in Augusta. This presentation was conducted at the beginning of our October Council Business Meeting. All who worked our Drive Weekend was very pleased as to how much was raised. This year we were able to present three $600.00 checks to the recipients. The recipients were very happy that the Knights of Columbus of the Parish of the Holy Eucharist considered their organizations for these nice donations. Following the presentation photo’s were taken.
