Walk for Life, Bangor, ME-Donation to First Step Pregnancy Resource Center

Project Description:
Our Bangor region Pine Cone Council 114 has made multiple donations to First Step Pregnancy Resource Center and to Shepherd’s Godparent Home over the years. This year, SK Rey Dubois solicited pledges/donations from Knights at our 5/7/24 business meeting. These added up to $555.00…and Council 114 made an additional donation of $100.00, bringing the total donation to First Step Pregnancy Resource Center of $655.00, in anticipation of their yearly fundraiser, First Step Walk for Life.
Unfortunately, SK Rey realized that he was doubly-committed on the scheduled Walk day of 5/18/24, and he decided to go to the 4th Degree Exemplification, in Rockland, as “support” for new 4th Degree Candidate, Michael CoWallis. Rey was able to make the $655.00 donation, in person, at the office of First Step, to Executive Director, Penni Hill.
Pine Cone Council will continue to SUPPORT LIFE in the Bangor region through financial and volunteer efforts. (Painting, flooring, yard work, and financial support.) We encourage all Councils throughout Maine to do the same! Love Your Neighbor! Support Life!
