Council: 1873 - HOULTON

Project Description:

Houlton Council 1873 sponsored over 150 wreaths for RSU 29s Wreaths Across America Event at Evergreen Cemetery in Houlton Maine. On the Day of the event, 5 Knights assisted members of the Community in placing 675 wreaths on our veteran’s graves. This event happened on December 17th Just as a Snow Storm hit that gave us over 18 inches of snow. This did not deter our Knights or the community in honor of those that sacrificed everything for freedom.

Our Grand Knight was honored to place a wreath in honor of all U.S. Army Soldiers past and Present.

This event has helped us connect with the greater Houlton Community and help us provide a good example to the students of Houlton High School.
