Wreaths Across America

Wreaths Across America

Council: 10221 - GORHAM

Project Description:

The Wreaths Across America caravan made an early morning stop in Gorham to pay tribute to Gorham’s School Resource Officer who had made the trip regularly and had passed unexpectedly passed away in 2019. The ceremony at the High School also paid tribute to local veterans and families. Three brothers banded together to greet the caravan as it passed down South Street and onto Morrill Avenue. We waived to the drivers and participants with the American and POW flags. Our own member even had the chance to have a picture with his nephew Trooper Barnard. It was a very moving experience to see all who participate in showing respect for our fallen soldiers and their families.
