Yard Sale Support

Project Description:

One of our parishioners looked to do something different to raise funds for the church. She organized a yard sale in the church parking lot offering tables for rent. The event was held over two back to back weekends April 28th and May 5th. It was a good showing for the first time and nice that we could support this event. The Council helped by arriving at 6:30am to set up the tables. Our council offered egg sandwiches, coffee and juice for breakfast. At lunch we offered hamburgers and hot dogs. We used the proceeds to go toward our seminarian support; approximately $75 was put towards the fund. After the event, we helped take down the tables and put them away.
