Sixteen council brothers, wives and our District Deputy, District Warden and one of our Parish Priests participated in our 2018/2019 New Council Officer Installation Ceremony at Holy Martyr’s Church Chapel and Meeting Room on Tuesday August 7, 2018. Prior to the opening of the Council Officer Installation Ceremony our Council Family Director presented Certificates of Appreciation to the Knights and Families of the Month for June, July and August. A Certificate was also presented to our resident Deacon for beinging selected as one of the 100 winners from Supreme for Family of the Month for June 2018. Following these presentations Fr. Paul Marquis opened up the ceremony with prayer and the flag salute. This year is not only a new fraternal year for our council, but with the five new Council Officers coming on board it will be a year of training and learning. Since 2014 we have had our resident Deacon act as our Council Spiritual Advisor. Because of his work schedule he will be stepping down as Spiritual Advisor. With this said, our Grand Knight will be submitting a letter of request to have Fr. Paul Marquis become our first ever Council Chaplin. This year like in past years the District Deputy and District Warden were very professional in their presentation. Following the Installation a social was held in our Council Meeting Room. Plenty of fellowship was had by all. We Thank the LORD for allowing this evening to be a success. The Officers of this council look for a very busy and productive year ahead.
