Project Description:

On December 9th, 2018, St. Martin of Tours Council #680 held our annual Youth Christmas Party at St. Martin or Tours Catholic Church Parish Center. This party was open to all children of Christ the Divine Mercy Parish. In all 12 children participated with their parents and some with grandparents. Brothers served hot dogs, chips, fruit punch, and cake. The cake was decorated with a Happy Birthday Jesus message. Before the cake was cut, everyone joined in in singing happy birthday to Jesus. After the meal, the children were surprised with a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Presents were given to each of the children in attendance and each child left with a small stocking filled with Christmas candy. The Council hosts this event every year to bring attention to the Christmas season, entertain our children, and to educate them to the real reason for the holiday..the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ
